The adult moth of this species has brown wings with a pattern of bands of various shades of brown, with bubbly edges. The moth has a wing span of about 2.5 cms. The moth has been seen flying during the daytime.

Specimens of the adult moth of this species have been taken from the high country of

  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria (such as Mt. Wellington and Mt. Arbuckle).
