The adult moth of this species has pale brown wings,. with a dark yellow-edged 'Y" shaped bar across each forewing, and a dark yellow edged plain bar across each hindwing. The forewing tips are slightly hooked, and each wing margin is angled.

This species has been found in Australia.

The genus assigned to this species by Guenée needs to be changed, but so far no suitable genus has been described.
