The adult moth of this species is brown with variable patterns. The hindwings are plainer with the patterns confined to the margins and hind margins. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

This species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
