The adult moth of this species is brown with variable patterns, including a dark spot near the tornus and a dark bar near the base of each forewing. The wing margins are scalloped. The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms.

This species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
