The adult moths of this species have a brown pattern on the wings. The hindwings are only about half the size of the forewings. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

The species occurs in the oriental tropics, including :

  • Borneo,
  • Sri Lanka,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
