The adult moths of this species are pale brown with a broad irregular brown band along the costa of each forewing, and a broad brown mark at the tornus of each hindwing. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

Various subspecies are found in

  • Borneo,
  • New Guinea,

    and also in Australia in

  • Queensland.
