The adult moth of this species is brown with dark markings, including a dark patch near the middle of the hind-margin of each wing. The hindwings have an angled margin, so look kite-shaped. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
