The adult moth of this species has a complex zigzag brown pattern on the wings, including a broad dark band with wiggly edges across each forewing. The hindwings each have a similar but faint pattern. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • Western Australia.
