This adult moth has wavy light and dark brown bands across each forewing. The hindwing is off-white with some brown shadowy bands near the margins. The wingspan varies from 2 to 3 cms.

This species occurs across south-east Asia, including

  • Borneo,
  • New Guinea,
  • Sri Lanka,
  • Thailand,

    and Australia in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
