The adult moths of this species have grey forewings, each with a vague pale spot near the middle The hindwings are grey-brown. The wing margins are chequered.

The females have a wingspan of about 6 cms.

The male moths have straighter wing margins than the female, and more feathery antennae, and have a wingspan of about 4 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
