This is a pale brown Caterpillar with lateral hairs along both sides of its body. The hairs from the head curve forward. The caterpillar has two thin red-edged orange bands on the thorax. A thin dark dorsal line runs along the abdomen. Each abdominal segment has two scarlet dashes each side of the dorsal line. The length was about 6 cms.
