The adult moths of this species have pale pink or yellow forewings, each with broad red veins, a grey area at the base, two grey tranverse lines, and pale yellow hairs along the margin. The hindwings are pale yellow with narrower red veins. The head, thorax, abdomen, and legs are densely covered in pink and brown hair-like scales. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species occurs in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
