These Caterpillars were brown with a broad dark brown stripe along the back. The caterpillars had four brown tufts on its back.

The caterpillars also had sparser tufts of pale grey hairs all along each side, two dark hair pencils on the pro-thorax, pairs of red marks on both the meso- and meta-thorax, two red dorsal glands on the two penultimate abdominal segments, and darker hairs on its posterior.

The caterpillars pupated in sparse cocoons on their tree.
