This Caterpillar was found on the concrete pavers under an Oak tree in the main street Possible foodplants in the nearby area included the Oak tree and Carpet Roses.
The caterpillar was generally furry all over, and a muted yellow-orange colour, with a brown face. The caterpllar had four light brown tufts on its back, and red warts on the two antipenultimate abdominal segments. The caterpillar had a length of about 3.5 cms.
