The adult male moth has pale brown forewings, each with a dark transverse arc by the base, a white wavy submarginal line, and a dark spot near the middle of the costa. The hindwings are dark brown. The moth has a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
