The Caterpillar of this species is reported to feed on the fruit of :

  • Cork Vine ( Secamone elliptica, APOCYNACEAE ).

    The adult moth has pale brown translucent narrow triangular wings. The forewings are pale brown, each with dark markings around the wingtip and margin, and near the base on the hind margin. The hindwings are pale brown with dark veins. The wingspan is about 3 cms. The abdomen is long, giving the body a length of about 2 cms.

    The species is found across the south-west Pacific, including

  • New Guinea,
  • Fiji,

    and in Australia in

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
