The adult moth have brown forewings, each with some variable dark dots near the middle, and a submarginal arc of dark dots. The hindwings are yellow, each shading to white at the base, and with a submarginal dark arc including an arc of dark dots. The wingspan is about 5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
