The adult moth of this species is fawn with a variety of dark spots on each forewing, including a prominent one near each apex. The hindwings are plain. The moth has a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

The species is found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
