The forewings of the adult moths of this species have a striking pattern of orange with white markings outlined in dark brown. The hindwings are similar but have a large area of black speckles, and are edged with a series of black spots. The wingspan is about 2 cms. The forelegs are longer than the wings.

The species has been found in Australia in :

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
