These Caterpillars are thought to feed on plants from the family APOCYNACEAE, including

  • Oleander ( Nerium oleander ), and
  • Wide Milkvine ( Parsonsia lata ).

    The adult butterflies of this species are brownish black, with a few white spots on the undersides of the hindwings. The adult butterflies have a wing span around 7 cms.

    Various subspecies are found in

  • New Guinea and adjacent islands,

    and Australia in

  • Queensland on Cape York.
