The adult moths of this species have grey forewings each with dark lines and a dark spot. The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
