Phylomictis maligna

These adult moths have dark brown forewings, each with a variable broad white streak along half the wing which sometimes contains dark spots or streaks. The hindwings are brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in eastern Australia, including:

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
