The adult moths of this species of this species are grey with a complex pattern of dark dashes on each forewing. The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

The species can be found in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
