Sorolopha cyclotoma

The adult moth of this species has a bold pattern of shades of brown on the forewings, including a prominent white-outlined dark brown circular spot near each wingtip. The hindwings are plain brown. The thorax has a hairy brown crest. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species occurs in:

  • New Calidonia,
  • New Guinea,

    and in Australia in

  • Northern territory, and
  • Queensland.
