The adult moths have speckled brown forewings, each with a large golden patch on the margin. The hindwings are pale brown. The hindwings each have a slight recurve in the shape of the margin. The wingspan is about 1.6 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
