The adult moth of this species has forewings with a variable patterns of light and dark brown, each sometimes partly crossed by a diagonal dark band, sometimes with a dark mark at the wingtip, and sometimes with a big incomplete dark triangle standing on the hindmargin. The hindwings are pale brown. The margins of all four wings are concave. The wingspan is about 1.4 cms.
