Strepsicrates sphenophora

The adult moth has grey forewings, each with numerous diagonal brown streaks along the costa, and a curved incomplete broken white streak from base to wing-tip bordered by dark streaks and orange patches. The hindwings are pale grey. The labial palps are hairy, and the legs are dark brown with white bands. The wingspan is about 1.2 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
