The moth has pale brown forewings each crossed by a pale band and a dark band, and with a black mark along the costa. The hindwings are white shading to brown at the edges. The head and thorax are pale yellow. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • Western Australia, and
  • Queensland.
