The adult moth of this species has brown forewings, each with a paler costal half and a darker area along hind margin, as well as a dark line along the costa, a dark mark near the middle, and some dark zigzag submarginal markings.

The hindwings are pale brown fading to white at the bases. The moth has a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

The species occurs in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
