The adult moths of this species have forewings that are dark grey speckled with white dots into a series of dark waves. The hindwings are white, shading yellowish at the bases. The moths have a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in :

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
