The adult moths of this species have rusty brown forewings each with pale veins. The hindwings are off-white shading to brown at the wingtips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New Guinea

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
