This plant was found in North Maclean, Queensland.
It grows up to a height of about 8 inches, or 20 cms.
One day it had a tiny bud. Next day it opened, but for only a few hours.
In summer this flower is white even though it is the same plant that had a pale pink flower in the winter.
The winter bloom never opened completely. It could be minerals in the soil or temperature that makes it change color. Indeed, the entire plant can turn red.
