This Mistletoe has been found on species of

  • Barringtonia ( LECYTHIDACEAE ),
  • Alstonia ( APOCYNACEAE ), and
  • Ficus ( MORACEAE )

    in the monsoon forest of the Northern Territory.

    It has elliptical leaves with a length of 8 to 15 cms., and a width of 2 to 5 cms. The flowers are orange and yellow with a length of 2 to 3 cms. The fruits are spherical with a diameter of about 1 cm.

    This is the foodplant of the Caterpillars of :
