The adult moth of this species has off-white forewings, each with many brown spots of a variety of sizes. The hindwings are white, shading to pale brown at the wingtips. The moth has a wingspan of about 1.2 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • South Australia, and
  • Tasmania.
