The adult moth has off-white forewings, each with two diffuse brown stripes. The hindwings are off-white with copious brown hairs. The head and prothorax are white, but the rest of the thorax, and abdomen, are brown. The antennae are nearly as long as the forewings. The moth has a wingspan of about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
