The adult moth has dark brown forewings, each with a pale streak near the base and another on the margin. The hindwings are brown. The head and part of the thorax are white. The moth has a wingspan of about 1.8 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
