This Caterpillar covers its case with thin sticks or dry stems of varying lengths aligned parallel to the case. This is similar to the case of Clania lewinii, but Clania lewinii has thicker sticks and fewer of them, and has them cut to more nearly the same length. The case in the photo had a length of about 4 cms.
The caterpillar itself had a black head and thorax, with complex white markings.
