The adult moth of this species is pale brown with a dark dot near the middle of each forewing.

The species occurs around the tropics, such as

  • Hong Kong,
  • Philippines,
  • Sri Lanka,
  • U.S.A.,

    as well as in Australia in:

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
