The adult moths of this species have grey forewings that are each crossed by some postmedial zigzag lines, and an anteromedial pale bar which is sometimes transected by a dark chevron pointing to the tail. The hindwings are white, shading to brown at the margins. The moths have a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
