The moths of this species are brown with a complex variable wing pattern, some specimens being dark, some pale. They have a wingspan of about 2 cms. The natural posture is with the head and tail tip curved up, and the wings bent down at an anhedral angle.

The species is found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
