This moth has brown forewings, each with two partial dark streaks, and black bands across the middle and along the margin. The scales composing the black markings are easily lost, leaving only the vague brown markings. The hindwings are off-white shading darker at the margins. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species is found in :

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
