The adult moths of this species have blotchy grey forewings, each with a ragged triangular black mark, outlined in white, on the costa

The hindwings are yellow, darkening toward the margins. The moths have a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in :

  • Western Australia,
  • Queensland,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
