The adult moths of this species are brown with pale yellow wing margins, and with translucent cream bars outlined in black along the costa of each forewing.

The species is found in Asia, including:

  • Hong Kong,
  • Japan,
  • Papua New Guinea, and
  • Taiwan,
    and in Australia in:
  • Queensland.
