The Caterpillars of this species feed on the leaves of:

  • various Fig trees ( Ficus, MORACEAE ).

The adult moths are very pretty. The forewings are brown and orange, with white patches outlined in black. The hindwings are transparent with a brown and iridescent blue margin. The blue colour fades in dead specimens.

The moths have a wingspan of about 5 cms. The species is found in Queensland and New South Wales.
