The species occurs across south-east Asia, including : Thailand as well as in Australia, where it seems to have a fairly wide habitat spread. Specimens have been taken from dry schlerophyll at Wilton and Como around Sydney, as well as others from wet lowland tropical rainforest at the Claudie River on Cape York.
