The adult moths of this species are black with an extensive pattern of overlapping yellow spots. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species occurs across south-east Asia, including

  • Hong Kong,
  • Japan, and
  • Reunion
    as well as in Australia in:
  • Queensland.
