This Caterpillar was very smart: it folded a leaf in half, and attached the halves together with silk to make a shelter in which to live. It was found on a:

  • Sydney Wattle ( Acacia longifolia, MIMOSACEAE ).

    It had a yellow head, and black and white rings along the body, and had a length of about 1 cm.

    The caterpillar was found in Sydney, New South Wales.
