Undetermined Australian Caterpillar Query U , B541

This Caterpillar was pink with a dark brown head and collar. It grew to a length of about 1 cm.

The adult moth is brown with a complex pattern of dark brown patches. The size, and the pattern of short diagonal stripes along the forewing costa suggest OLETHREUTINAE

The specimen was found in Sydney, New South Wales.

An undetermined Tineidae was withdrawn from this webpage.
