This Caterpillar is brown with a dark brown head. It lives between leaves joined with silk, feeding on the young leaves :

  • Bottlebrush ( Callistemon, MYRTACEAE).

    It grows to a length of about 1 cm.

    The adult moth is brown, with dark diagonal markings. It has a wingspan of about 1 cm.

    It was found in Sydney.
