The adult moth of this species is brownish grey with variable vague dark markings on the forewings, sometimes streaky, sometimes blotchy.

The hindwings are off-white, darkening toward the margins. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species occurs in south-east Asia, including

  • Borneo,
  • India, and
  • Sri Lanka.
